Weniger als 5% von 1 Million gehörlosen Kindern in Pakistan haben Zugang zu Bildung. Sogar diejenigen, die sich für die Schule anmelden, brechen die Schule frühzeitig ab, weil sie mit der Lernumgebung nicht zurechtkommen. Das Hauptproblem gehörloser Kinder ist nicht mangelndes Gehör, sondern mangelndes Verständnis. Die meisten gehörlosen Kinder werden von hörenden Eltern geboren, die sich im Allgemeinen nicht darüber im Klaren sind, wie sie mit Taubheit umgehen sollen. Darüber hinaus gibt es kaum oder gar keine Hoffnung auf soziale Bindungen, wenn das gehörlose Kind in einer von Armut betroffenen Familie geboren wird. Die AL Mudassar-Bildungsschule unterstützt die emotionalen, sozialen und pädagogischen Bedürfnisse gehörloser Kinder, in der Kinder mit besonderen Bedürfnissen professionell betreut werden. Wir bieten Elternberatungssitzungen für ein besseres Verständnis an und befähigen gehörlose Kinder mit Bildung, ein wertvolles Mitglied der Gesellschaft zu werden, anstatt abhängig und Opfer der Gesellschaft zu werden.
