LEARNING DISABILITY

At Al-Mudassar, we firmly believe that children with learning and developmental disabilities have the potential to be active, contributing members of society and can achieve significant milestones when given the right support and opportunities. Our  Learning Disability Centre currently serves over 175 children with a wide range of conditions, including Autism,  ADHDDown Syndrome, and other developmental challenges. We offer a comprehensive range of services, including special education, welfare, and rehabilitation, all designed to meet the individual needs of each child.

Our skilled psychologists assess each child’s unique abilities and challenges, creating tailored development programmes to guide their learning and growth. These programmes are continuously monitored to track progress, ensuring that each child receives the support they need to succeed. In addition, we have speech therapists on staff who work closely with students to improve communication skills, providing valuable support for children with speech and language difficulties.

We are also proud to offer unique facilities in Pakistan, including sensory rooms that provide a calm, safe space for children to explore and regulate their sensory experiences. These rooms help children with sensory processing difficulties to feel more grounded and engaged, supporting their emotional and cognitive development. Additionally, we offer psychotherapy services, which are crucial for addressing the emotional and mental well-being of children with learning disabilities. These services provide the children with tools to manage stress, anxiety, and any other emotional challenges they may face.

At Al-Mudassar, we focus on equipping children with essential self-help and academic skills that are relevant to both classroom and home environments, aiming to make them functionally independent. Our approach is highly personalised, ensuring that every activity is sensitive to each child’s pace

Al-Mudassar Trust provides free education to 175 children with learning disabilities, giving them the support and opportunities they need to learn, grow, and build a brighter future.

Please donate today and help transform the life of a child with learning disabilities.
