At Al-Mudassar Trust, we believe that children with any form of disability have the potential to be active, contributing members of society. Our Rehabilitation Centre, established in 2018, is dedicated to supporting children with physical disabilities, helping them overcome challenges and providing them with the chance to thrive in a nurturing environment.

We understand that while some children may face greater barriers to independence, they still deserve the chance to receive quality education and rehabilitation. Our dedicated in-house medical specialists ensure that each child receives the care and support they need, tailored to their specific needs. While full independence may not always be possible, our aim is to provide every child with the opportunity to live with dignity, access education, and improve their quality of life.

The activities and therapies provided at our centre are designed to be sensitive to each child’s individual competence and abilities, ensuring they are not only supported physically but also emotionally and socially. Every child is treated with the utmost respect and given the tools and resources to reach their full potential.

OUR SERVICES

100% Free Education for All Children: Every child at our centre receives access to free education, with a curriculum adapted to meet their unique needs. We believe that education is a fundamental right, and we strive to ensure that all children, regardless of their disabilities, receive the learning opportunities they deserve.
Early Identification & Intervention: Early identification of disabilities is crucial for effective intervention. Our specialists work closely with each child to identify needs and challenges early on, allowing us to develop personalised intervention plans that maximise their potential.
Special Physical Training: Our rehabilitation centre offers tailored physical training programmes designed to improve motor skills, mobility, and overall physical function. These exercises help children strengthen their bodies and gain more control over their movements, contributing to their independence.
Speech & Physiotherapy: We offer speech and physiotherapy services to support children with communication and mobility challenges. Our therapists work closely with each child to improve speech, language, and physical coordination, helping them develop essential life skills.
Psychological Intervention: We provide psychological support to help children cope with the emotional and mental challenges that may come with a disability. Our psychologists use a range of therapeutic techniques to support mental well-being, building resilience and emotional strength.
Music Therapy: Music therapy is a key part of our rehabilitation programme, helping children express themselves creatively and improve their emotional and cognitive development. Through music, children can connect with their emotions, enhance communication, and engage in a healing process.
Co-Curricular Activities: We offer a variety of co-curricular activities, including art, sports, and recreational activities, to promote social inclusion, self-expression, and skill development. These activities are carefully adapted to meet the individual needs of the children, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to participate and thrive.
Parents Counselling and Guidance: We recognise that parents play a crucial role in the rehabilitation process. We provide counselling and guidance to parents, helping them understand their child’s needs, cope with challenges, and support their child’s development at home. Our goal is to create a supportive partnership between the school and families, ensuring the best possible outcomes for every child.
